The Foundation of Local Democracy organized a two-day workshop in Sarajevo for the associated members of the Safe Network on December 12 and 13, 2016, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of associated members of the Safe Network in advocacy activities and the design of a joint public campaign. The training was attended by 12 representatives of SN members.

Support for the realization of the workshop and the design of the campaign was provided by the marketing agency Via Media and the FLD team. The results of the survey conducted in 10 local communities with recommendations and conclusions were first presented at the workshop. During the first day of the workshop, the following topics were discussed: Why is creative strategy important (Case: Museum of Public Procurement), Influence of Social Networks, Low Budget Tools / BTL / Guerilla, How to Get a Free PR (Case: Meet the Real Hero). On the second day of the workshop, there3 was practical work on the creation of a public campaign through the work of the working groups and the definition of key messages. The main slogan of the campaign was selected: "I raise my voice against the violence."

Participants were informed of an internal competition within which they could propose their project proposals, i.e. the actions they will realize as part of a joint campaign in their local communities.

In accordance with the established criteria, FLD will select with the permanent members of the Safe Network the five best applications, whereby the implementation will be financially supported.

An application form has been distributed to the participants.

The competition will be open from 15 to 25 December 2016.
